Bringing Back British Aviation at Aero Expo

Europa Aircraft – Bringing back British Aviation at Aero Expo

Dedicated to revitalising Aviation design and manufacturing in the UK, Europa Aircraft recently showcased British Aviation successes – past, present and future.

Europa Aircraft, the sole remaining manufacturer of light aircraft in the UK recently attended Aero Expo 2010 to show the world that we intend to bring British Aviation back to the forefront of the world scene.

Europa Aircraft has been a part of the Swift Technology Group since 2005, and we want to underline our performance as one of the world’s most successful kitplane manufacturers, and now we are still experiencing strong sales today, developing new products for the market and have pilots building and flying Europas all over the world.

Working with the rest of the Swift Technology Group, the Swift range of aircraft is being developed, including the Swift II, side by side twin seat aerobatic aircraft, perfect for aerobatics and training for organisations ranging from flight schools to militaries. This, along with the other aircraft in the range, promise to prove to the world that Britain still produces world class commercially competitive aircraft.

Partly inspired by previously successful aircraft in a similar class, the Slingsby Firefly and Scottish Aviation Bulldog, work on the Swift II is still in the design stages but is already attracting a great deal of interest and is proceeding on schedule.
