Dutch Fly in Planned
Tim Weert, builder and pilot of a Europa XS Trigear, is pleased to announce that a Dutch Europa Fly-in has been planned for Friday 11 September 2009 to Sunday 13 September 2009.
All European Europa's are welcome at Texel Airport EHTX, which, claims Tim, is the most friendly airport in Europe!
There is plenty of accommodation at Texel Island if you would like to stay in style, however for the more adventurous, you are able to camp by your aircraft.
A BBQ will be provided on Saturday 12 September, and other meals are available from the airport restuarant.
It looks set to be a fun-pack weekend with local activities including fishing trips, walks in the National Park and seal spotting. Not to mention, comments Tim, lots of Dutch beer!
Tim hopes to see as many of your there as possible - all Europa builders, pilots are welcome, as are Europa enthusiasts and anyone who is interesting in owning a Europa in the future.
